Monthly Attorney Admissions Proceedings

Pursuant to Rule 83.1(b)(2)(A)(i), an attorney may be admitted to practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims by oral motion. Attorney admissions proceedings take place once a month at the Howard T. Markey National Courts Building, 717 Madison Place, NW, Washington, DC, 20439, generally at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday of the first full week in every month (with the week commencing on or before the first Monday). Proceedings for 2022:

Upon consideration of the current circumstances relating to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, attorney admissions scheduled in open court ceremonies are canceled until further notice. Petitions for admission to the bar of this court will continue to be accepted through PACER and will be processed as soon as practicable.
