Robert E. Kirschman, Jr.

Robert Kirschman serves as the Director of the National Courts Section, Commercial Litigation Branch, Civil Division, United States Department of Justice. In that capacity, he leads an office of over 120 attorneys engaged in litigation on behalf of the United States, principally in the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of International Trade. He has served in the Commercial Litigation Branch since 1990, and has participated in litigation of several of the Branch's largest cases throughout the years. His primary area of personal practice includes contract disputes. He received his law degree from the George Washington University and his B.A. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University.
